Shmeegus was originally created by the Zlorgovera TikTok account. However, in late 2025, the Zlorgoverse account was removed from Tiktok for unknown reasons. It is presumed that the account owner terminated the account, but this is unconfirmed. As such, information on Shmeegus and exact dates for creation and uploading of important moments in Shmeegus history are thought to be lost.

Zlorgo is presumed to be a parental figure to Shmeegus, as they are seen at numerous points accompanying and guiding Shmeegus throughout their daily lives, as well as doing activities that would normally be conducted by a parental figure such as tucking Shmeegus in to bed.
Shmeegus was not in the Epstein Files.
Shlumblo and Shmeegus do not get along. When Shmeegus saw Shlumblo outside, they were traumatized to the point of going back inside and waiting for Shlumblo to be gone before having playtime.
